I’ve heard many of these often well-intentioned, yet extremely irritating comments and I hate to admit that I have spoken a few myself. Here’s a little cheat sheet so you don’t put your foot in your mouth like I have!

(1) How much more weight do you have to lose?
(2) When is your baby due?
(3) How was your labor and delivery
(4) Why aren’t you breastfeeding?
(5) Are you getting any sleep?
(6) Did you deliver vaginally or have a c-section?
(7) Interesting name choice….
(8) My baby was sleeping through the night by that age!!
(9) When are you having another one?
(10) Your baby is crying, shouldn’t you do something about it?
